CASE STUDY: POLICE AND PRISON TRANSFORMATION IN GHANA

The Challenge:

• The Ghana Ministry of Interior (Police and Prisons) wanted to update and modernise their facilities and functions
• The Paramount Solution: Supply of Equipment, Training and a Support Package

Paramount:

• Facilitated a Ghana ministerial mission to South Africa to observe the operation of the South African Police force and Correctional Services
• Supplied equipment to the Police, including vehicles and logistic support
• Supplied the Prisons ministry with vehicles, a logistic support package and commissioned a fully equipped workshop whilst providing training and educational facilities

The Outcome:

• Improved efficiency and effectiveness of the Ghanaian Police Force
• Made a substantial contribution to the Ghanaian prisons rehabilitation program
