The Challenge:

  • The Air Force had lost its fighter capacity some 10+ years previously
  • The existing fleet of jet aircraft were no longer serviceable or airworthy
  • The Air Force personnel, although still assigned as a fighter squadron, were not active
  • Facilities were run down and needed refurbishment
  • Ground support equipment was no longer in working order

 

The Paramount Solution: Financed, Turnkey, Jet Fighter Capability

  • Financed the solution
  • Supplied completely rebuilt aircraft with high residual life airframes and engines
  • Reestablished technical capability through training and skills development transfer programs
  • Established and managed a Jet Fighter pilot training program in collaboration with the South Africa Air Force
  • Established an Integrated Logistic Support System
  • Refurbished all facilities
  • Provided ground support and other equipment

 

The Outcome:

  • Air Force jet fighter capability restored to an operational level
  • Ongoing training programs to complete the solution rollout and ensure operational readiness
